Students are asked to translate their small-scale research into a practice-oriented paper (intended audience = teachers and school directors). The students that produce excellent papers are invited to prepare their paper for publication in a practice-oriented magazine (after the course is finished), such as .
Aims
This assignment helps to achieve the following aims in the course:
- Being able to operationalize theoretical concepts
- Conducting a small-scale pedagogical practice-based research, under supervision of experts
- Writing a practice-based paper
- Being able to argue practical relevance and quality of practice-based research and communicate this relevance to a broader audience
