About us
Established in 2021, we are the Green Team Pharmaceutical Sciences (PS), a mixed group of technicians, teachers, PhDs, postdocs and students.
Our passion lies in promoting and accelerating the sustainability transition within the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. We play a crucial role in leading the way to more sustainable research and education by encouraging grassroots initiatives such as implementing LEAF in research labs, organizing courses on sustainability in the pharmaceutical field, and other educational endeavors. Currently, the Green Team operates on a volunteer basis and is fully supported by the Department board.

The Framework
To address various aspects of the sustainability transition within our Department, the Green Team PS is organized into three main pillars: Education, Green Labs, and Research
Education Enthusiastic teachers and students who want to make education more sustainable and create awareness about sustainability in science and planetary health.
Green Labs With the help of dedicated task forces formed by lab users, the Green Team leads the transition towards greener labs within the Divisions of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Research in sustainability Our aim is to develop a series of research projects that will contribute to a scientific basis for transitioning to sustainability within the pharmaceutical sciences.
