Enhance your supervisory skills with our new Academic Writing Courses for GSNS/GSLS Supervisors, offered by Utrecht University’s Communication Skills Academy (COSKA).
This program equips supervisors (from postdoc to full professor) to guide master’s and PhD candidates in writing clear and impactful scientific texts. Topics include the writing process, structuring texts, clarity and readability, AI integration, diagnosing writing challenges, and providing effective feedback. Benefit from interactive e-learning modules on the ULearning platform, complemented by in-person or online meetings with colleagues and experienced instructors.

Educational Consultancy & Professional Development, part of the Utrecht University Centre for Academic Teaching, offers various courses for the higher education sector in English, for example, Supervising PhD research (four afternoons).
