Sustainable Ruminant Health

We contribute to sustainable animal husbandry through research into the health and welfare of ruminants

Livestock farming has changed dramatically in recent years, along with society's perception of it. This evolution is set to continue. To meet future challenges, livestock farming must become more sustainable by reducing its carbon footprint, using less land, water, and other scarce resources, and improving animal welfare. At the same time, it must also remain economically sustainable.

Veterinarians today and in the future will face new demands and expectations. However, one thing remains constant: animal health is absolutely essential for sustainable livestock farming.

We are dedicated to improving the health of ruminants, both preventively and curatively, at the level of individual animals as well as the herd. Through our work, we actively contribute to the transformation of livestock farming towards a more sustainable future, using all tools available.
