I am an Assistant Professor (tenured) in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Previously, I worked as a Postdoc Researcher in the (DPS) Group at the , (AAU), Austria.
My research interests span the concepts of resource and data management, application scheduling and placement, performance modelling, optimisation and observability in large-scale hybrid distributed systems (e.g. Cloud, Edge, Quantum). Recently, I have also developed an interest in ML training and inference workload scheduling and applications of learning paradigm (e.g. causal performance attribution, performance diagnosis, prognosis and prediction) across the Cloud-Edge Continuum.
In the past, I was associated to multiple EU H2020 projects in various roles (i.e. Scientific Coordinator, WP Leader, Researcher). Currently, I also serve as an Associate Editor for , editorial board and steering committee member for Springer鈥檚 book series and conference on frontiers of AI and program committee member in various conferences and workshops. Currently, I am also a member of IBM鈥檚 working committee on HPC-Quantum integration and particularly focus on workload and runtime management in such hybrid systems from middleware perspective.
