I am a developer at the Centre for Digital Humanities' Research Software Lab, where I develop bespoke software for researchers from the Humanities. I have a background in linguistics and my research concerns factors that influence child vocabulary development, as well as the psychometric evaluation of tools to test this development. At DH Lab, I am dedicated to showing researchers in the humanities the (nearly) endless possibilities that digital research methods offer.

I am currently involved with the development of , a text corpus analysis tool that includes newspapers, parliamentary debates, and literature. Additionally, my colleagues and I are developing linguistic databases, annotation libraries, historic Dutch language models, and much more. If you have any questions about applying digital research methods in your research, be sure to reach out or come to the where you can ask for in-person or online advice from me or one of my colleages.
