I am a lecturer in the department for English Language and Culture, with a focus on early modern English literature. My Ph.D. is from the University of Exeter, and an MA in early modern English literature from Bangor University. Since then I have worked at the Universities of Exeter, Queen Mary University London, University of Oxford and University of Warwick. At the moment, I am completing my second monograph, The State Bibles: The Cultural Politics of Anglo-Dutch Translation and Adaptation, to be published by Oxford University Press. This is the major output of a four-year British Academy project at the University of Warwick.
