Christina explores how societal change processes such as the shift to a sustainable, circular economy or the digital transformation affect organizations’ innovation strategies and, in turn, how organizations’ innovation efforts affect institutional arrangements. She is also passionate about the question of how organizational members can support such processes and cope with the tensions caused by organizational change. In her work, Christina employs different qualitative methods and draws on organizational theory together with insights from innovation management and transition studies.
Christina's work has received recognitions such as the Academy of Management ONE Division or a That’s Interesting Award! from the International Society for Professional Innovation Management.
Before joining academia, Christina has worked in management consulting and corporate strategy units for companies in Europe, Northern and Latin America.
