Bruce Mutsvairo is Full Professor in the Department of Media and Culture Studies at Utrecht University. He previously held tenured academic posts in the UK, Australia and the US, where he worked as a Professor in Journalism at Auburn University. He has also been a visiting professor at the University of Mississippi (US), the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa) and Simon Fraser University (Canada). Bruce has led multiple research and teaching teams across the interdisciplinary field of media and communication studies, publishing extensively in the area of his primary expertise: journalism studies.
