Animal Welfare could be improved through applying technology. As a PhD candidate I am to improve laying hen welfare. We apply computer vision to understand behaviour of laying hens at the group level as well as the individual level. This project is part of the IMAGEN program in which I work from Utrecht University in a collaborative project with WUR, TUe and multiple project partners.
