Hanna Jagtenberg teaches and conducts research at the Department of Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University. Her research focuses on questions of identity and belonging, loss and change, grief, mourning and meaning making and decoloniality and white privilege. She analyses these concepts through an anthropological lens and her ethnographic research is primarily based in South Africa and Australia.
