Students of MSc programs in Banking and Finance and Financial Management taking steps to career success through preparation for the CFA Program

Utrecht University has been welcomed into the CFA Institute Affiliated University Program.

The Master of Science programs in and have been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute and within the program. These programs position students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, which has become the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world.

The CFA Institute Affiliated University Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that Utrecht University School of Economics (U.S.E.) curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students to sit for the CFA examinations. Through participation in this program, U.S.E. is eligible to receive a limited number of student scholarships for the CFA Program each year.

Part of the Master degree in International Economics and Business, the masters in Banking and Finance and Financial Management are 1-year full time programs, combining the theoretical rigor of financial economics with the most empirical, real-world aspects of finance and accounting.
