Sport & Society network celebrates its 3 year anniversary
Utrecht University and Utrecht University of Applied Sciences established the nationwide network in 2012. Nowadays the network consists of 70 researchers and lecturers that focus on the societal meaning of sport.
The network has resulted in a research focus area at Utrecht University and a focus theme at the University of Applied Sciences. Also, various joint research projects have been developed and successfully executed.
At November 2 2015, the impact of the network was celebrated during a network meeting, which also emphasized the ambitions and possibilities of further collaboration.
