As part of its 380th anniversary celebrations in 2016, Utrecht University is treating residents of and visitors to the city of Utrecht to … a (Cultural Sunday)!
April 3, the university will be transforming the city centre into a huge lecture theatre with an extensive programme of mini-lectures, practicals and presentations on a wide range of disciplines.
Sport & Society, one of the research focus areas of Utrecht University, will contribute with a debate about the societal meaning of professional football clubs. Researcher and FC Utrecht CEO Wilco van Schaik will cross swords. Other contributions by Sport & Society will be announced later.
