Save the Date: University College Utrecht Celebrates its 20th Year Anniversary
Mark your diaries! In 2018, University College Utrecht is celebrating its 20th anniversary! There will be a weeklong lustrum celebration from the 8th-16th of September 2018. We will celebrate UCU as the pioneer of the Liberal Arts & Sciences education in the Netherlands, and explore how it has evolved since then and what we aim for in the future. More information on the Lustrum events and schedule will follow soon, but events that will be of special interest to alumni include the Scholarship Dinner on Friday 15 September, where we will celebrate the launch of a new-style UCU Fund, and the Lustrum exhibition ‘the Cabinets’.
The Cabinets will be an exhibition of time, place and persons at UCU, and we are looking for contributions from students and alumni to feature in the different parts of the exhibition: Architectural Transformation of the Military Barracks into UCU, the IT Revolution, Global Warming, the Economic Crisis, the Refugee Crisis.
