Workshop content
Data are becoming increasingly important in the humanities. In this one day course, given by prof. Hugo Quené, you will learn the basics of statistical data analysis. The instructor will start with core concepts: sample, data. Next, he will discuss the principles underlying statistical descriptions and analyses: variation, probability. You will learn how to describe statistical properties of data (centre, distribution), how to choose an appropriate statistical test, and how to perform a simple statistical tests.
Admission is free, but register quickly, as spots are limited.
