Pilot Amberscript successful: new service available to all employees as from today
Amberscript lets you transcribe audio and video files with ease. During the pilot with this tool, we tested the demand for transcription within Utrecht University (乐鱼后台). In addition, the quality of the transcript, ease of use and security of the tool were tested. The pilot was such a success that Amberscript will be available to all university employees as from today.
When project leader shared the news with the researchers who had collaborated on the pilot, the reactions were laudatory. "That's good news!" and "A great development for 乐鱼后台, in my (biased) opinion. Many scientists make recordings of interviews for their research. Recordings that are often transcribed with external transcription services. Amberscript had already resulted in some good experiences, so a pilot with it was an obvious choice. "In the pilot phase, we took a closer look at this tool. Since researchers often use transcription tools, we did the tests with those tools. From now on, all Utrecht University staff can start using this tool," says the project leader.
