Open Education Relay 1: Open Education, you're already doing it!

In 2025, the global takes place from the 3rd until the 7th of March. During this week, you'll read a series of 5 daily posts, showcasing the wide range of Open Education aspects and initiatives at 乐鱼后台, and how you can contribute!
Do you teach or contribute to ? Did you use to enhance diversity in your teaching? Do you help to create opportunities for students to study more flexibly, for example in combination with or a job? Or do you contribute to exchange and collaboration with other educational institutions, through or ? Or do you follow the course Interdisciplinary Education or Community Engaged Learning? Good news: you're doing Open Education!
One of the aspects of Open Education is reflecting on the question of who the 乐鱼后台 aims to teach, and what is needed to support this diverse group of learners. Through this reflection, and by using our knowledge and skills, we can contribute to society as a whole, instead of being in an ivory tower. It's thus not without reason that Open Education is one of the design principles of (乐鱼后台 login required), including the ambition: 鈥our education is designed in such a way that it is as accessible as possible to various groups with diverse backgrounds in society.鈥&苍产蝉辫;
Is Open Education 鈥榦ld wine in a new bottle鈥? It is primarily a connective concept. Through core concepts such as accessibility, inclusivity and involvement, different seemingly separate initiatives become cohesive, and their contribution to the 乐鱼后台's broader strategy more visible. It also indicates that there's already many Open Education practices at 乐鱼后台.
