Nina Geerdink and Andrea van Leerdam receive book historical Tiele-fellowships 2022

Two out of three 2022 fellowships of the Tiele Foundation for book historical research have been granted to researchers from the Faculty of Humanities. Dr Nina Geerdink (Utrecht Centre for Early Modern Studies) and Andrea van Leerdam MA (Utrecht Centre for Early Modern Studies and Utrecht Centre for Medieval Studies) will receive financial and academic support from the Tiele Foundation to work on their proposed projects for two full months. Nina Geerdink will study booksellers' privileges that were requested by authors during the long seventeenth century; Andrea van Leerdam will study astrology and religion in early printed 'calendars of shepherds' in French, English, Dutch, and German.
