GeoUtrecht 2020 virtual conference successfully concluded

The  (21-26 August 2020) has recently ended successfully. The organisers (Utrecht University, DGGV and KNGMG) are grateful for the contributions of all presenters, conveners, moderators, exhibitors, event organizers and participants. A high level of engagement of the 620 participants within the virtual environment of the conference was observed during and around the 230 presentations. The  and  will remain available on the conference website.

Based on the feedback received so far, GeoUtrecht 2020 was a great success with high-quality live presentations, live interactions and productive debates during the virtual field trips, plenary and individual sessions, events, in the exhibition hall, during peer-to-peer networking and ad-hoc meetings arranged amongst yourselves. Two special volumes of selected peer-reviewed papers in regular journals on content associated with the GeoUtrecht 2020 conference are currently being planned. Interested participants may send their willingness to contribute by sending a short message specifying a title, list of contributing authors and affiliations, as well as a very short description (NOT longer than 4 lines of text) to geoutrecht2020@fu-confirm.de no later than 15 September 2020.
