Spring is bursting forth at Utrecht Science Park! Yellow iris, sharp buttercup and true camomile are blooming between buildings, along cycle paths and in hidden corners. See your surroundings with different eyes and discover which wild plants grow at Utrecht Science Park during this botanical excursion.

What can you expect? 

During this excursion, you will learn to take a fresh look at your surroundings: did you know that you can recognise plants even when they are not flowering? Together with ecologist and Green Office coordinator Thomas Olijhoek, you will discover the Science Park's ‘wild’ flora. Using clever tricks, Thomas shows you how to recognise plants and trees yourself.  

Who is it for? 

This excursion is for all ÀÖÓãºǫ́ and HU students and staff who are curious about the nature around them. No prior knowledge is required, just an open mind! The excursion is bilingual (Dutch & English).
