What You鈥檒l Need:
- A laptop (Windows or Mac) with Autodesk Fusion installed ( and check the )
- A mouse (designing with a trackpad or touchscreen is tricky!)
- Optional: An idea for a part you'd like to design
Workshop Goals:
By the end of the session, you鈥檒l have the skills to create a multi-component design that is fully parametrically defined. We'll show you the tips and tricks to create robust, adjustable designs in the fewest possible steps.
What to Expect:
Join us for an engaging and hands-on session where you'll get into the nitty-gritty of Autodesk Fusion. This workshop is intended for those already familiar with Fusion (for instance after following the Introductory Level), and aims to make you proficient in 3D modelling.
We'll assume that you already know how to generate fully constrained sketches, and focus on the more advanced tools in Fusion. We'll review your current best practises, to improve the quality of your designs.
You'll be generating a complex multi-component design, with as few parameters as possible while remaining fully customizable. Robustness and speed of design will be addressed.
Expect a fun, interactive atmosphere where you鈥檒l have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and apply what you learn in real-time.
